Gangtok is a beautiful city in the Himalayas of India. It's known for its tea plantations, forests and snowy peaks. Gangtok is also known as the capital of Sikkim which has a population of around 70,000 people. The city has many luxury restaurants where you can eat delicious food at affordable prices! Here are some restaurants that we recommend:
The Garden of Five Senses is located in the heart of Gangtok, right on Jogibara Road—the main street that runs through town. It’s an easy walk from where you can find yourself at this exclusive restaurant.
The interior is designed with a rustic feel and features high ceilings, exposed stone work, wooden floors and walls covered in traditional Nepali decor. The restaurant has over 250 different types of dishes to choose from including traditional Nepalese dishes such as momo or dumplings filled with meat or vegetables along with other delicious vegetarian options like dal bhat (lentil rice). There are also plenty of international options including Japanese sushi rolls or Western favorites like burgers and steaks!
The atmosphere here is fantastic; it feels like you're sitting inside your own home while enjoying some delicious food in front of you!
Leopold Cafe is a popular restaurant in Gangtok that serves up delicious food. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. You can find Leopold Cafe on the main road just outside of town, or you can visit them at their new location on Mandakini Hill Road.
The menu includes things like pizza, salads, pasta dishes/pizzas (including vegetarian options), burgers and fries as well as some Indian favorites including tandoori chicken or lamb masala curry with naan breads served with rice or naan breads served without rice – all served up with generous portions of salad greens tossed in olive oil & vinegar dressing!
The Valhalla Cafe is a popular spot for breakfast and lunch. It’s open from 7:30 am to 3 pm, and has a good selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
The Big Chill Bar and Restaurant is located in the heart of Gangtok, just off the Mall Road. It’s a laid back place that serves up great cocktails, burgers and steaks as well as other tasty treats from around the world. Their signature cocktail is called “The Big Chill” which consists of Cointreau, lemon juice and ginger ale served over ice cubes with house-made ginger beer (or soda). You can also try their famous cheese burger paired with fries or onion rings for only Rs 49! If you're looking for something more substantial then why not try their Chunky Meat Pie or New Zealand Lamb Burger?
You'll find this place easily if you follow these directions: Head down Mall Road until it ends at Namgyal Street; turn right onto Namgyal Street; continue straight ahead until you reach Civil Lines Square where there will be signs directing guests towards The Big Chill Bar & Restaurant on your left side near Gate 3A (which leads into Government Museum). Once inside though don't worry about finding tables because they're all occupied by people enjoying delicious meals together so let them know when they enter whether they would like tables reserved beforehand (Rs 8500 per hour) before heading straight back out again once done eating :)

Description: The restaurant is a blend of modern art and traditional Punjabi cuisine, with an emphasis on fresh ingredients. They offer a variety of vegetarian options as well as meat dishes like mutton curry, chicken tikka masala or seafood dishes such as prawn curry or fish tandoori (a type of Indian pizza). For dessert there are many choices including buttermilk ice cream cake, cheesecake or tiramisu. They also have an extensive wine list featuring both domestic wines and imported vintages from around the world including Italian sangiovese red wine from Tuscany Italy along with French Chardonnay white grapes produced in Burgundy region France where wines are known for their full bodied flavors!
Menu prices range from INR 200 - 500 depending on what you order so it's best if you ask them before ordering anything else because some items may cost more than others depending upon quantity ordered at time given order placed plus taxes applied during checkout process later on via credit card payment gateway provided by MasterCard/Visa etc..
The Gateway of India is a famous landmark in Gangtok, India. It's a colonial-era building that was built to commemorate the visit of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert during their tour of India in 1877. The Gateway has been used as a movie set for many movies including Disney’s "The Rescuers Down Under" (1990) and "Indiana Jones and The Temple Of Doom" (1984). In addition to being an important tourist attraction, it also serves as an excellent place to eat!
You can enjoy drinks at one of many bars while you wait for your food. Food here ranges from classic Indian dishes like samosas filled with potatoes or spinach; tandoori chicken cooked over hot coals; naan bread baked inside clay ovens called tandooris; karahi paranthas served with curries made from coconut milk along with turmeric powder - an essential ingredient found in many curries!
Hotel Grand Serenity is a grand hotel in Gangtok. It has a restaurant, a bar and a coffee shop. The hotel is located on the main road of Gangtok and it is one of the best places to eat or drink in town.
The Friendly Dragon Restaurant and Bar is a great place to go if you're looking for a good meal in Gangtok. The friendly staff has been known to give out free food if they see someone who hasn't eaten yet, while their food is also delicious. In addition to this, their prices are very affordable and they have a wide selection of dishes available on their menu.
Finally, the location of this restaurant makes it easy for customers to find because it's right off the main road that leads into town from airport or bus station (that's why we recommend this place).
The Park Restaurant is located in Gangtok, and it's a family owned restaurant. It has a wide variety of food, including Chinese, Indian and Nepalese cuisine.
The atmosphere at The Park Restaurant is great! Their staff are friendly and helpful when it comes to helping you decide what kind of food you'd like to eat or how much wine or beer to drink with your meal. They also have an excellent selection of wines from all over the world which can be enjoyed while enjoying your meal at this restaurant!
Ruby's Restaurant is a restaurant in Gangtok, Sikkim, India. Located at the top of the Gangtok hill and surrounded by lush greenery, this place offers panoramic views of Himalayas. Ruby’s Restaurant was established in 1965 by Mr. Raja Ram Singh Chauhan who has since then worked as its manager for over 50 years. The restaurant serves South Indian cuisine including traditional meals like thalis (buffet), mutton biryani and chicken curry made from scratch using local spices like turmeric powder instead of chilli paste which gives it an authentic flavour!
The food here is really good with plenty choices including butter chicken along with other vegetarian options such as paneer masala dosa( crispy pancakes stuffed with paneer) aloo paratha(vegetable flatbread stuffed with potato) murgh makhani (chicken cooked in cream sauce) etc...
Encore Buffet is a popular option in Gangtok. The buffet offers an extensive selection of Indian and Nepalese dishes, as well as Western cuisine. There are also several vegetarian options available if you're looking to try something different than your usual breakfast or lunchtime meal.
If you're feeling peckish for dinner, Encore Buffet is also one of the best places to go in Gangtok—the restaurant features a wide range of international fare from Chinese and Japanese food to Mexican cuisine and American comfort foods like pizza and burgers (which I know some people don't like but hey). You'll find everything from meaty steaks served with sides such as grilled chicken tips or grilled shrimp skewers; seafood paella rice bowls served with saffron rice; stir fried noodles made with soy sauce broth; French fries topped off with ketchup sauce...the list goes on!
Himalayan Express is a perfect place to go for a delicious meal. The food is great, the service friendly and the prices reasonable. It's also located in the heart of Gangtok, so it's easy to get there from anywhere in town or even from other parts of Sikkim. The atmosphere at Himalayan Express is relaxed but lively enough that you won't feel like you're dining alone (which can happen sometimes). There's a wide range of options on their menu; vegetarian choices are plentiful too!
The Shangri-La Hotel is located in the heart of the town and has a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. The hotel's dining hall serves excellent Indian food, while the bar caters to those who wish to relax after their meal with drinks or cocktails.
