Kasauli is a town in Himachal Pradesh, India. It is located on the bank of river Mandakini and has an elevation of 4,000 feet above sea level. The town is known for its hot springs, which are available year-round thanks to the snow-fed rivers that feed them. The town also has many Hotels in Kasauli and guest houses where visitors can stay while visiting nearby attractions such as Shimla or Manali
The Kasauli Rhythm and Blues Festival: A three-day festival featuring live music performances from local and national artists, along with food stalls and art exhibits.
The event is held in the first week of December every year. It features a variety of genres such as blues, jazz, rock and other popular forms of music. The event has become one of the most famous festivals in Himachal Pradesh with various artists performing at various venues across town including indoor stadium with capacity to accommodate 10-15 thousand people at one time!
Kasauli International Film Festival is a four-day festival showcasing films from around the world, including documentaries, short films and feature films. The festival was started in 2010 and held annually at various locations in Kasauli as well as other towns in Himachal Pradesh.
The first edition of this film festival was organized by a group of volunteers with only two days notice. The next year saw an increase in size and participants but still remained small relative to other cities like Delhi or Mumbai which had their own annual film festivals by then. In 2011 there were more than 300 entries submitted for consideration by judges but only 35 were selected due to lack of funds and resources needed for screening these movies nationwide; instead they showed them locally at different venues across town during their opening ceremony each year after receiving payments from sponsors like World Vision India Foundation; National Centre For Promotion Of Employment And Training (NCPET) etc., who sponsored free admission tickets so people could come over if they wanted!
Kasauli Literature Festival: A three-day festival for book lovers, featuring book readings, author talks, and workshops on writing and publishing. The event will take place from January 16-18 at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in Kasauli.
The second edition of CM Yogeshwar Prasad’s Kasauli Literature Festival will be held from January 16-18 at NCPA. This year’s theme is ‘Celebrating Writing’ with lectures by well-known authors like Pankaj Mishra, Ashok Vajpeyi, Rana Dasgupta etc., as well as workshops on how to write good literature with renowned writers such as Sushmita Ray (actor) & Nandini Singh (novelist).

This year's theme is “Taste of Kasauli”, which will feature various delicacies from the area such as local cheeses and fresh fruits. The festival will also include a wine tasting session where you can try different kinds of wines produced by local wineries. You'll find everything from sweet wines to dry whites at this event, so there's something for everyone!
Kasauli Yoga and Wellness Festival: A weekend festival for yoga and wellness enthusiasts, with workshops and classes on yoga, meditation, and alternative therapies.
The festival will be held at the Jwala Singh Auditorium in Kasauli from 21st to 23rd February 2019.
Kasauli Summer Festival: A month-long celebration of the summer season, featuring cultural programs, sports events, and street performances.
The festival will be held at various venues in Kasauli city from 3rd July to 12th August 2019.
The program includes cultural programs like dance performances by students from colleges and schools across Kasauli district; classical music concerts by renowned artistes who have made their name in national Radio or Television channels; folk dances like `Bhakti Kumaar' (Lord Krishna's dance) & `Dandiya Raas'. There will also be sports competitions including cricket matches between schools/colleges from different parts of Uttarakhand as well as international level badminton tournaments among students from different parts of India!
The Kasauli Winter Festival is a week-long festival celebrating the winter season, with activities like skiing, snowboarding and ice skating as well as music and dance performances.
The Kasauli Winter Festival is held every year in January. It was first held in 2004 at the Swami Vivekananda Kendra at Kasauli (now known as Kendriya Vidyalaya) under the guidance of renowned painter and art teacher Ramana Pandit Das Ashish Mishra.
Kasauli Handicrafts and Artisans Fair: A three-day fair showcasing traditional handicrafts and artworks from local artisans, along with live demonstrations and workshops. The event will be held at the Kasauli Palace on January 23-25, 2019.
Kasauli Photography Festival: A weekend festival for photography enthusiasts, featuring exhibitions, workshops, and talks by renowned photographers.
The festival is organized by The Photographic Society of India (PSI) every year in Kasauli. It runs from 5th to 7th January every year and attracts a large number of participants from all over the country who come to learn more about the art of taking pictures. The event also includes several workshops where guests can get hands-on experience with various techniques and equipment used by professional photographers.
Kasauli Eco-Festival: A three-day festival promoting eco-friendly practices and sustainable living, with workshops and talks on environmental issues and a focus on local and organic products.
The festival is organized by the Department of Tourism, Govt. of Himachal Pradesh. The festival aims to promote the state as one of the best places to visit in India. It also aims to create awareness about environmental protection through various activities such as nature walks, bird watching expeditions etc., which will be conducted during this time period (March 8 – 10).
The Kasauli Heritage Festival is a week-long festival celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Kasauli, with performances by local artists, exhibitions and guided tours of historic sites.
The festival was started in 2002 by local philanthropist Virendra Kumar Singh who wanted to create a platform for showcasing the rich culture and heritage of Kasauli district through art forms like music, dance and theatre. Today it has become an annual event attracting thousands of visitors from all over India as well as overseas who come to see what makes this place so special!
Kasauli Craft Beer Festival: A weekend festival featuring a variety of craft beers from local breweries, along with food stalls and live music performances.
The Kasauli Craft Beer Festival is an annual event held in February in the town of Kasauli to promote the drinking culture of India. The festival was first organized by Shashi Khandelwal and Friends in 2010 as part of their efforts to promote it as a tourist destination for beer enthusiasts. It has since grown into one of India's largest beer festivals where participants can sample over 200 different beers from all over India at various stalls across town from 6 pm onwards on Saturday evening until Sunday afternoon when all activities conclude after several hours long sampling session (till 4 pm).
The goal behind this event is simply to introduce people who are unfamiliar with Indian beers but have heard about them because they have been featured in movies like Bollywood movies or popular TV shows such as Game Of Thrones (which features some excellent examples).
Kasauli Film and Music Festival: A week-long festival featuring film screenings and live music performances, with workshops and talks on filmmaking and music production.
The event was started in 2008 by the local government to promote cultural tourism in Kasauli. The festival is organized every year by an independent non-profit organization called Kasauli Film & Music Foundation (KFMF). KFMF organizes several other events during the year such as KFMF Art Exhibition or Gandaki River Film Festival etc., which are not covered in this article because they do not have any connection with this particular festival.
