Wonderful Places to Visit in Cuttack

If you're looking for a weekend getaway, Cuttack is the perfect place to visit. The city is home to some of the most beautiful temples in Orissa and has plenty of things to do as well. Here are some of my favorite places to explore when I'm in Cuttack.

Exploring the intricate silver filigree work at the Orissa State Museum

The Orissa State Museum is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Cuttack. Located in the city itself, it houses a large collection of artifacts and artwork related to history and culture of Orissa. The museum can be visited by anyone at any time as it is open to public during office hours on weekdays while it closes during weekends and holidays.

The museum has been built using ancient building traditions like those used by ancient Egyptians and Romans, making it an interesting place for tourists who want to learn more about their cultures as well as see how other people lived centuries ago!

A peaceful escape to the tranquil Dhabaleswar Island Temple

The Dhabaleswar Temple is a beautiful example of Orissan architecture, and it's located on an island in the middle of the Mahanadi River. The temple has a large pond with lotus flowers that you can walk around, as well as a statue of Lord Jagannath (the presiding deity).

This reservoir has been used for irrigation purposes since then, but today it attracts visitors from all over India who come here to enjoy their time in Cuttack.

The reservoir has become such an important part of Cuttack's culture that there are even festivals held on its banks every year! You can see these festivals in action during your visit if you decide to go out fishing or just enjoy some time away from busy city life—it will be worth it!

The museum is open every day except Monday. It is best to visit in the morning or early afternoon, as it can get very crowded during peak hours.

There are also plenty of restaurants offering cuisines from all over India as well as international fare like pizza or burgers!
