Wonderful Places to Visit in Parbhani

Parbhani is an administrative district in the state of Maharashtra. Parbhani is located on the bank of Godavari River and was formerly known as 'Padmavati' due to its proximity to river Padma. The city has a rich history dating back to the age of Mahabharat era. There are many places for tourists to visit in Parbhani including Hazrat Turabul Haq Dargah, Kala Maruti Mandir, Naneshwar Temple, Jama Masjid, Jintur Nagnath Temple etc.

Hazrat Turabul Haq Dargah

The Hazrat Turabul Haq Dargah is located in Parbhani. It is a famous dargah of Hazrat Turabul Haq and attracts thousands of tourists every year. This religious place of worship for Muslims offers a lot to explore, including an underground tunnel that leads to the tomb of Hazrat Turbul Haq himself!

The building itself is very impressive, with three floors and a beautiful marble dome ceiling on top. There are also beautiful murals inside which depict scenes from Muslim history and mythology as well as some great examples of Islamic artistry by local artists who worked there before it was converted into a museum after being abandoned for decades due to lack of maintenance funds over time (which caused many pieces within its collection including statues made out if wood which were imported from Egypt).

Kala Maruti Mandir

Devgiri Fort

Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agricultural University

Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agricultural University is a public agricultural university in Parbhani, Maharashtra, India. It was established as a constituent unit of the University of Pune on 1 April 1982 and became an independent body on 1 July 1984. The campus is located at Kudalwadi village near Parbhani town with an area of about 32 km2 (12 sq mi), spread over three villages: Kudalwadi and Pimpri-Chinchwad.

The main campus has been designed by Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIDB). The university has been granted five star rating by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for its overall performance and student evaluation system which provides feedback from students every semester through surveys conducted during classes/practices etc.,

Shri Gajanan Maharaj Mandir

Shri Gajanan Maharaj Mandir is a famous temple in Parbhani. It is located at Banjari Chowk, on the outskirts of town. The temple has been built on the site where Gajanan Maharaj used to live with his family before moving to Raigad district. The idols inside this temple are made out of stone and wood, while most other decorations are made out of brass or copper sheeting.

The main deity here is Shri Ganesh (the elephant-headed Hindu God), along with Lord Rama and Laxmi as his consorts. There are also other deities like Hanuman and Buddha inside this place that you can see if you decide visit this place during your trip.
