Patiala is a beautiful city in the state of Punjab, India. It's known for its history and culture, but it also has many affordable restaurants that offer great value for money. Here are some of our top recommendations for affordable restaurants in Patiala:
Patiala is a city in the Indian state of Punjab. It's known for its food and culture, and it's also a place where people from all over the world come to visit.
Patiala is home to many affordable restaurants that offer good quality food at affordable prices. The following are some of the best places to eat:
To be included on this list, a restaurant must meet the following criteria:
It is affordable. This is important because you want to know that when you go out with friends or family members it won't break your bank account. Also, if there are any special occasions coming up and we're looking for something different than what's already on the menu (like a birthday party), then maybe this isn't necessarily the best option for us because it would cost more than what I'm willing or able to spend at one time. If your local eatery doesn't offer cheap meals but they do have good reviews and their food tastes good too - then maybe this should be considered as well!
Location matters too! Especially when considering where else could possibly eat besides these places nearby? If there aren't other options nearby then why not just stick closer instead? Maybe even closer than home since some days might call for cooking oneself dinner instead of getting takeout from somewhere else so anything shortening travel times would definitely be helpful in improving productivity levels by saving time spent commuting back home after work hours end early enough so everyone can get ready before heading out again later tonight!"
The Patiala restaurant is a family owned and operated business. It has been in business for over 20 years and is known for serving Punjabi cuisine at an affordable price. The staff are friendly and the ambiance is nice, especially during evening hours when it becomes more livelier with people coming in to chill out.
The menu features a wide range of dishes that can be enjoyed with your family or friends: appetizers like samosas (pork and potato), bhajis (fried dough) and chole masala; main courses such as butter chicken curry; vegetarian options like aloo gobi; dal makhni gravy over rice or roti; desserts like gulab jamuns soaked overnight in rose syrup served warm right out of the oven!
You may have heard of this place, as it's one of Patiala's oldest restaurants. The restaurant has been in business for over 100 years and has a reputation for serving delicious food at reasonable prices.
The atmosphere at the kitchen is warm and friendly, with waiters who are always willing to help out if you're looking for something specific on your plate. They pride themselves on being able to make anything that you want!
The menu at Orya serves traditional Indian dishes, and there are many options for vegetarians too. The restaurant has a wide selection of vegetarian curries and dal (lentil) dishes.
The potato curry is one of the most popular dishes on the menu, but it's also good as a side dish to accompany any main course or vegetarian meal in general. One thing we love about this dish is that you can customize it with your choice of spices or herbs according to your taste preferences!
Another great option is their naan breads—they come out piping hot straight from the oven every time so you'll never have to worry about over-cooked food again!
Price range: Between Rs. 250 to Rs. 500
Value for money: 4/5 stars
What you can expect from the restaurant: The food is good and the service is quick and efficient, but it's not a five-star restaurant, so don't expect that. If you're looking for something inexpensive but decent, this place will do well enough!
What you should pay: $10-$20 per person (the price depends on what kind of food you order). You can get your money's worth here if that's all you want to spend on dinner—but if there are other things on your mind like travel expenses or gifts for friends who just got married...then this might not be quite enough return on investment (ROI).
Atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant
Friendly staff. You will be greeted with a smile when you enter a restaurant, which is important because it makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. The staff should be friendly in nature and helpful to all customers, not just those who can afford their services. If there are multiple waiters or waitresses on duty at any given time, they must all be able to communicate verbally with each other in order for everything to run smoothly.* Clean environment: - Clean toilets/bathrooms - Good lighting - Good ventilation (ventilation systems) - Decorations (decorative items around seating arrangements)
The staff should be friendly and helpful.
Smile, be polite and make sure your customers feel welcome.
Be welcoming, honest and transparent in communicating with your customers.
Be attentive to their needs by listening carefully while they are speaking so that you can resolve any issues that may arise before they become a problem for the restaurant or its patrons (this also applies if there is something wrong with their food).
Testimonials or reviews from past customers are an important part of any business, and it's important to note that they can be used in a variety of ways.
Customers can use testimonials to decide whether they want to visit the restaurant and/or recommend it to friends.
They also help convince customers who haven't been there yet that they should try it out!
Directions and accessibility information for the restaurant:
How to get to the restaurant: Located at the corner of Patiala Road and Patiala House, just off Baghpat Road. Enter via a small alleyway on your left.
Where can I park? There are several parking lots in close proximity, including one near Basant Singh Park and another outside Hotel Anand Palace (which is also accessible by foot). Alternatively, there's also an open parking lot across from Gandhi Market which's free but extremely busy during peak hours—you'll need patience if you want to park here!
How do I get into the restaurant? The entrance is located at 11th floor on either side of building—you'll see a staircase leading up with signs indicating which way to go once inside. Once upstairs though, check out this video for more info about entering our dining rooms!
If you are looking for a budget-friendly option in the same area as the top recommendation, look no further.
Kebab House - Another great choice for Indian food, this restaurant has a wide selection of dishes that are all under $10 per person. They also have some vegan options if you prefer not to eat meat or dairy products (although they're not prominently featured on their menu).
Namaste Cafe - This cafe offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals at reasonable prices, making it an ideal place to grab lunch before heading out on an adventure around Patiala's city center. Their menu includes all kinds of curries including chicken biryani and mutton curry along with veggie burgers made from lentils instead of beef!
Quick bites and street food options in Patiala
Quick bites are small snacks that can be eaten on the go. They are usually less expensive than full meals, but still offer a variety of flavors and textures. Patiala has many quick bite options to choose from, including:
Baked Corn on the Cob $1.50 - This classic dish is one of the most popular street foods in India! The ears are dipped in batter, then fried until golden brown. They're served with spicy tomato sauce or chutney for dipping, along with papaya salad (a mix of chopped onions and cucumber). You'll also find this dish at restaurants such as Rajputana Palace Hotel & Restaurant & Cafe Aroma which serves it with pakoras instead of corn kernels so you can enjoy both versions at once!
Pav Bhaji $4-5 - This delicious Indian dish consists of potatoes cooked inside an onion masala curry base mixed together with spices such as turmeric powder or coriander powder depending upon where you live; however whichever version you choose will result in one amazing meal! It's often served over fries instead because they absorb more juice while keeping everything moist thanks to being fried beforehand."
If you have been to Punjab, you know that it's home to a wide variety of different cuisines. The food here is rich in spices and herbs, which makes it quite different from other parts of India. Punjabi cuisine has become famous for its use of wheat flour, pulses (such as lentils or peas), vegetables like cauliflower and potatoes, dairy products such as paneer or ghee (clarified butter) and meat dishes such as biryani rice with chicken or lamb.
If you are dining at an Indian restaurant, dress for the occasion. While this is a general rule for most restaurants, it's especially important in India to be respectful of others and their culture.
Be polite and friendly when visiting a new place. It's easy to get overwhelmed by all of the sights, smells and sounds of a foreign country—especially if you're on vacation! But remember that this can also lead to awkward encounters with strangers who may not know how formal your interactions should be or what sort of etiquette applies when eating out in Patiala (or anywhere else).
Be courteous: Try not to interrupt people while they're talking; show interest in their conversation; acknowledge them when making eye contact; put down your fork before reaching across someone else's table space; etc..
