We stayed in one of their self-contained villas (a combination of studio, one bedroom and two bedrooms), which was nicely appointed with two full bathrooms and a kitchenette. The building also houses two restaurants: one inside and one outside (with umbrellas). There's also an outdoor bar where you can order drinks while taking in some great views of nearby Monkey Bay Beach or Ziro Island itself!

The resort is located in the heart of Playa del Carmen, so you'll have plenty of things to do. You can walk around the town and find tons of restaurants, shops and bars along the way.

The Spa at The Hut is a really nice luxury option. We enjoyed massages and facials during our stay, and the prices were very reasonable for services like these. There are also yoga classes available on a regular basis, which we would have loved to take advantage of if we had more time!
