Sirpur is a town in the state of Odisha, India. It is located on the banks of river Brahmani and has an average elevation of 216 m (712 ft). Situated at an elevation of 610 m (2,000 ft) above sea level, its climate is temperate. The town has many Sirpur Temples and pilgrimage sites and architectural structures built during the rule of kings like Prataparudra I and II, who had lived there during their reigns.
Laxman Temple is located in the village of Sirpur. The temple is dedicated to Lord Rama, who was a Hindu warrior and an avatar of Vishnu. This temple has a history of more than 1000 years, but it was renovated several times during those years due to natural disasters like earthquakes and floods.
The main deity at Laxman Temple is Lord Rama with his consort Lakshmi seated on his right side while sitting on an elephant also known as Sudarshana Chakra (wheel). On top of this elephant there is a crown that represents immortality while holding arrows in each hand showing how he killed Ravana (the demon) with just one shot from his bowstring!
Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary in the state of Orissa, India. It is a protected area of Orissa. The sanctuary covers an area of 1,500 km².
Buddha Vihara is a Buddhist monastery in Sirpur, Odisha. It is a popular tourist destination in Odisha and has been visited by millions of tourists every year. The temple was built by King Bir Chandra Dev on the banks of river Brahmani and Bhairabi confluence.[1]
The temple complex consists of five separate structures dedicated to Gautama Buddha: Swayambhu linga; Kshetra Bhairab Bhandaraya or Samadhi Mandir; Laxmi Narayan Mandir; Ratna Prasad Chandra Vihar (Dutta Hall) and Shri Balaji Canteens.[2]
The main attraction here is the vast complex which houses several shrines representing different aspects of Buddhism including those dedicated to Siddhartha Gautama himself as well as his disciples like Ananda Mohan Vaidya; Sariputra etc.,[3] These shrines have been constructed out of stone slabs while many smaller ones are made from bricks or mortar stones cemented together with lime mortar.[4][5][6] The architecture itself reflects an eclectic blend between Hinduism/Buddhism styles found all over India today in temples built during medieval times such as those at Khajuraho (Madhya Pradesh), Konarak (Orissa) Ambar Swami Temple near Varanasi etc.,
Ananda Prabhu Kudi Vihar is a temple of Lord Hanuman, located in the town of Sirpur. It is a popular pilgrimage site for Hindus and visitors from other religions.
The temple was built in 15th century by King Shankaracharya Deva Raya who ruled over Vijayanagar Empire at that time.
Baleshwar Mahadev Temple is a Hindu temple located in Baleshwar village, Sirpur district of Chhattisgarh state, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The main deity of this temple is Lord Shiva who has been worshipped by Hindus as well as Buddhists for centuries.

Swastik Vihar was constructed by Pandit Taraprasad Mishra who was also responsible for building many other temples such as Brahmapuri and Khandagiri Temple etc., The main entrance to this temple faces east where there is an image of Nandi (Bull), which has been carved out from a single stone slab.
The Danteshwari Temple is a temple in Sirpur, Chhattisgarh, India. It is dedicated to Danteshwari, the goddess of wealth. The temple complex was constructed by Raja Narayan Singh (1857-1941) and his son Raja Ravi. The main attraction at this place is its natural beauty with lots of greenery around it which makes it look like a paradise on earth!
The Sirpur Paper Mill is an old mill that was built in the mid-19th century. It used to be a part of a large complex of buildings and other structures, but most have been destroyed or abandoned over time. Today, only one building remains: the paper mill itself.
This building is now part of an educational center where you can learn about how paper was made during its heyday as well as see some rare antique machinery used for processing it. You can also take photos inside this historic building!
Kanker Palace is a palace in the town of Kanker, Madhya Pradesh, India. It is one of the most important monuments of the Bundelkhand region.
The Kanker Palace was built by Maharaja Shri Tukojirao Scindia in 1839-1842 AD and designed by British Architect William Emerson. The main structure is a two storied building with basement and three floors above ground level with pillars on each side which rise to about 40 feet high from ground level.[1]
The Devi Temple is located in the village of Sirpur, and is dedicated to the goddess Chandi. It was built by King Bhojraj Malla in 1489 A.D., with dimensions of 30 feet by 30 feet at its base, rising to a height of 40 feet. The temple has four entrances on each side, which lead into a square structure containing an altar where offerings are made to Lord Krishna during festivals like Holi and Janmashtami (birthday).
Malhar Archaeological Site, located in Sirpur, Odisha is a protected monument. The site was declared as a protected monument by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) under Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Acts, 1958. It has been designated as a National Heritage Site since 2001.
The site forms part of ancient Malhara Kingdom that existed from 850 BC to 750 AD during which time it became one of the major kingdoms in South Asia. The name āMalharaā means āBlack Hillā because all its buildings were built using black basalt stones which gave them an impressive appearance when viewed from afar due to its dark color
