It was later renamed after King Sagara who ruled from 5th century BC until his death at age 40 during an attack by Porus' army (1). The Sri Krishna Temple (Krishna temple) is located on the banks of the Tapti River. The temple was built around 500 years ago by Maharaja Pratap Singh, who later became its guardian deity after he married Princess Bhagmati Devi Rana when she was only 14 years old! Admission costs Rs 100 for adults or Rs 50 for children; photos are allowed inside as well as outside on an hourly basis from 6am-6pm daily except Fridays when only Sundays through Thursdays are open until 5pm due to private events taking place at this time period (more info here).
