The Kanyakumari Summer Festival

The Kanyakumari Summer Festival is held in the month of August. It is a celebration of summer and an annual tradition that has been held for many years. The festival features cultural performances, food stalls and games for children to enjoy.

The festival takes place at Kanyakumari Beach near Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) on the west coast of India where you can see performances by artists from all over India who come to perform here each year during this time period.

The Cape Festival

The Cape Festival is a festival of cultural and artistic events, held in Kanyakumari every year. The festival was started in 1987 by the Indian People's Theatre Association (IPTA) under the leadership of Mr. Muthuvel Shankar who has been its director since then.

The IPTA has been organizing this event since 1988 with the aim at promoting art forms like drama, dance and music among people from all over the world through performing arts programs that include stage performances by talented artists from India as well as other countries such as England etc., workshops where participants learn about different aspects related to these arts like creating costumes etc., workshops on improvisation skills which helps them create their own plays during rehearsals etc..

The Gandhi Jayanti Festival

The Gandhi Jayanti Festival is celebrated in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, India on 2 October every year. It is held to commemorate the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi (1869–1948), who was born in Porbandar and spent most of his life in South Africa as a civil rights activist and journalist.

Gandhi Jayanti festival is observed across several states across India as well as some other countries including Australia, Canada and many others.

The International Yoga Festival

The International Yoga Festival is an event that celebrates the ancient art of yoga. It was founded by Yogi Hariharan in 2015, who also founded Kanyakumari's first yoga studio. The festival takes place in mid-January every year and features over 50 workshops and classes on different styles of yoga taught by local teachers from around the world.

The festival runs three days: Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Jan 19th - 21st).

The Kanyakumari Food Festival

The Kanyakumari Food Festival is a festival that celebrates the best of Tamil Nadu cuisine. The festival is held in the month of January every year at the Kanyakumari Heritage Centre, near Thiruvananthapuram and Varkala Beach. It aims to promote awareness about local food traditions and also to showcase them in an artistic manner with traditional dance performances and music performances by artists from different parts across India.

The festival was organized by the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC) along with National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science & Technology Studies (NIIST), Kerala State Hari Om Seva Sansthan, Department of Tourism & Culture etc., along with other organizations such as Grama Nilayam Sangamam Samiti, Grama Nilayam Samithi etc., but now it has become independent entity under Government’s umbrella program called “I Love You Kerala” which makes this event happen every year attracting tourists from across India towards Kanyakumari region especially during its peak season when many tourists visit here due to special events conducted here like seminars on various topics related arts education tourism economics politics history literature etc.;

The Kanyakumari Film Festival

The Kanyakumari Film Festival (KFF) is an annual film festival held in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu.

The festival was started in 2012 by film director Sivaji Ganeshan and his wife Sneha Dey.[1]

In 2017, the second edition of the festival was held from 19–26 January 2018.[2] Films were screened at two venues: The Thiruvananthapuram Central Library and Ramanathan Auditorium.[3][4]

The third edition of the festival will be held from 25–31 January 2019 at various locations across Kanyakumari district.[5][6]
