Pathanamthitta is a beautiful region in the state of Kerala, India. The city of Pathanamthitta has been called the "Queen of Kerala" and is home to many temples including Sabarimala temple and Kaviyoor Mahadeva Temple. The region also boasts beautiful parks such as Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple and Perumthenaruvi Eco-Tourism Park. Pathanamthitta is most famous for its mud baths however there are so many other places worth visiting around town!

Pathanamthitta is a district in Kerala, India. It's located in the central part of the state and falls under Alappuzha district. The city of Pathanamthitta was once known as "Udayagiri", named after its original name Udayagiri Hills. This region has diverse cultures and traditions, including Hinduism, Christianity, Islam and Animism.

Sabarimala Temple

Sabarimala is a temple located in Pathanamthitta, Kerala. It is dedicated to Lord Ayyappa, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Konni Elephant Training Centre

Konni Elephant Training Centre is located in the town of Konni, which is a small town in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala. The centre was established in 1987 by former State Animal Husbandry Minister E. K. Nayanar and his wife Sasi Parameswari, who were instrumental in bringing an elephant from Assam to train it for use as an entertainer at weddings and other functions.

The facility has undergone several changes since then: In 1994 it was renamed as “Konni Elephant Training Centre”; two years later it was expanded into what's now known as "Pathanamthitta Zoo & Wildlife Park"; then again in 2001 it became "Konni Wild Life Sanctuary"; finally last year (2017) yet another name change took place when its operations were moved from their old premises located on Guruvayoor Road into what currently serves as both zoo grounds plus tourist attraction venue!

Perunthenaruvi Waterfalls

Perunthenaruvi Waterfalls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Pathanamthitta. The falls are located at a distance of 20 km from Pathanamthitta and can be reached by taking an auto or by hiring a vehicle from there. The height of this waterfall varies from 3 to 15 meters and it has two types, namely, cascading and non-cascading ones. The best time to visit this place is during June–September when you will be able to enjoy a lot of natural beauty with your friends or family members who come here for vacationing purposes.

Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple

Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, located on the banks of the Pampa River in Aranmula, Kerala, India. The main deity installed at this temple is Lord Vishnu who is also called "Aranmulathappan". This temple was built by Maharaja Marthanda Varma in memory of his son who died during his childhood days.

The idol's name was given by his mother after whom it got built as per her wishes since she wanted him to live longer than anyone else in their family except herself because she knew that he would grow up into a great ruler one day like his father before him but unfortunately he passed away before reaching adulthood due to some disease which caused him severe pain every day for 6 months straight until death finally came knocking at their door whereupon laymen came forward offering prayers saying "may there be peace upon us all!". These prayers were accepted by Mahalakshmi herself so that people may live happily ever after into eternity together with each other regardless whether they're rich or poor (or even middle class).

Maramon Convention

Maramon Convention is a Christian pilgrimage festival that is held every year in the month of January. It was started by Saint Thomas Christians who are indigenous people of Kerala and also known as Syrian Christians. The main objective of this festival is to pay homage to Jesus Christ, Lord and Saviour who came from Nazareth in Galilee (now Israel).

Maramon Convention has been held since 1801 when it was first established by Fr Augustine Vadakkunathan who was born on 3rd March 1757 at Vadakkunnathan Kovilakam (St Augustine’s Home) near Kottayam district with his followers who were mainly Syrians migrated from Iraq during early ages due to persecution against them by Muslims there under false propaganda that they were Hindus converted into Islam through force or threats etc., but later they realized their mistake after some time spent together peacefully without any conflict over differences between religions or race etc..

Kaviyoor Mahadeva Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located in Kaviyoor, Pathanamthitta district, Kerala. The temple was built by King Dharma Raja Raja Varma Kulasekhara of Venad (who ruled Venad from 1657 to 1705) and it has been renovated several times since then.

The main deity of this temple, who can be seen on top of the sanctum sanctorum called garbhagriha or inner shrine room, is Mahakala or Mahakali which means "great snake" in Sanskrit language

The name Charalkunnu derives from two Malayalam words: 'charal' meaning flower and 'kunnu' meaning hilltop.[1][2] The place was once known as "Kadavoor" before it was renamed after Lord Krishna's birthplace[3].
