The place is also known as Vaishnodevi Shrine or Vyasanand Sagar Lake & Bay. The Chamarajanagar Fort is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Yercaud. Located in the heart of this beautiful town, it offers a great view of nature and its surroundings. This fort was built by Chavundaraya Deva Raya, who was also known as Chavundarayya.
This fort has been renovated several times over the years to keep up with modern requirements but still maintains some original elements such as its walls and moats which were made from stone quarried nearby. It also features two temples inside its premises: one dedicated to Lord Ganesh while another one houses deities Lakshmi (the Goddess) and Vishnu (the God).

Guindy National Park is a wildlife sanctuary in the Kancheepuram District of Tamil Nadu, India. It was established in 1959 and covers an area of 552 square kilometres. The park houses rich biodiversity and hosts a number of rare species like tiger, deer and wild boar.

Alagappa University is a university located in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India. It was established in 1938 by the Government of Madras Presidency.
