If you want to experience local food and culture during your visit, then plan your trip around August when there will be an annual Monpa Food Festival held at Tawang Monastery on every Sunday during this month. In addition, if you are interested in seeing traditional dances performed by monks, consider visiting either before or after this event takes place so that you can watch them perform while they have already warmed up!
Snow is a beautiful thing.
It’s fun to spend time with friends and family in the snow.
The winter months from December to February are perfect for snow lovers who want to enjoy skiing, sledding, or tobogganing down a hill covered in white powdery goodness!
If you're not into skiing or snowboarding but still want to tour Tawang during this time of year, then there are plenty of other activities available including ziplining through the forest canopy while holding onto safety ropes (you must be over 6 years old), taking photos of yourself next to goats on top of rocks near Tawang Lake (which also has swimming areas), or even just spending some time alone relaxing on your own private beach at Namgyal Resort where you can swim in their heated pool all day long without people bothering you :)
Autumn months of September to November are great for nature lovers. The monsoon season is over and the weather has cooled down, making it easier to explore untouched areas. If you love birds and want to see their nests, then autumn is the best time for visiting Tawang as there will be plenty of them nesting around your hotel or homestay. You can also go on walks through forests where all kinds of animals roam freely around you without any fear from humans!
If you have some spare time after work or school days then why not visit one of our beautiful national Garden and parks Tawang like Tiger Hill? This hilltop offers stunning views of surrounding mountains with its thick jungles full with vegetation including bamboo trees which form natural shelters for many different animals such as monkeys and deer among others who live here year round due to its warm climate conditions which makes this place perfect for anyone looking forward towards nature exploration activities; especially during winter months when temperatures drop significantly compared what happens during summer months (which means we get less rainfalls).
If you want to experience the Tawang Monastery at its best, then plan your visit during the Torgya Festival in January. The Torgya Festival is a Buddhist festival that celebrates the birth of Buddha and also marks the beginning of spring. It is also a celebration of light and sun which symbolizes peace, harmony and well-being for all living beings on earth.
The Monpa Food Festival is held in August when thousands gather for this event at different spots throughout Tawang district where locals sell their traditional dishes made from vegetables or meat such as pork belly curry or chicken curry served with rice by vendors who carry them on bamboo trays balanced on their heads! You can find out more about this food festival at http://www.tawangmonpafoodfestival2017/index
If you want to experience the rich culture and traditions of the Monpa people, then plan your visit during the Losar Festival in February. This is a major festival for them that is celebrated with great pomp and pageantry. It is also a time when they celebrate their New Year as well as an occasion to welcome back their favorite deity, Guru Rinpoche (Guru Padmasambhava), who came from Tibet in order to teach Buddhism in Tibet but returned to Tawang on horseback after defeating King Songtsen Gampo of Tibet and establishing Buddhism there.
The Torgya Festival is another major festival held every year at Tawang where Lamas from all over India come together with their followers from various parts of India including Sikkim, Nepal and Bhutan for this event which coincides with Tibetan New Year or 'Losar' celebrations as it's called by locals here too!
If you are a bird lover, then plan your visit during the spring months. The best time to visit Tawang is during the summer months (1st week of April – 15th week of October). Winter months from December to February are perfect for snow lovers and nature lovers who want to experience all that nature has to offer.
If you plan on visiting in winter, then it’s best do things like rafting, skiing and snowboarding. You can also experience Tawang Monastery when it snows because this is one of its specialties!
To avoid monsoon season, July and August are not recommended for Tawang. The roads can be dangerous due to landslides.
Monsoon season lasts from June to September in the Himalayas region and is a time when the weather becomes unpredictable and extremely cold. The rainy season starts around June but it gets worse as August approaches. Monpa people celebrate their Losar (Buddhist New Year) around the beginning of May; this celebration coincides with Tibetan New Year, which falls on 17th February every year in Tibet or Shigatse City (Gansu Province).
If you are an adventure seeker, then plan your visit during the summer months. The best time to visit Tawang is during the winter months. The best time to visit Tawang is also during autumn and spring, but if you can't make it then try visiting in summer.
If you want to go hiking or trekking in Tawang then make sure it's this season because there will be less snowfall and more sunny days which means that people can enjoy going out for walks or hikes without having too many restrictions on where they can go! This is also very important especially if we're talking about children who love being outdoors but don't know how dangerous it might be at certain times of year (like when there's lots of rain).
The months of October and November are great for those interested in witnessing the Yak dance. The Yak dance is a unique tradition of the Monpa people, who live in a region known as Tawang Valley. It's one of several religious festivals practiced by them during their annual rituals, which typically take place from March to April.
The Monpa people celebrate their traditional festivals in February and March, when they hold celebrations to mark important dates in their calendar; this includes rituals related to agriculture or farming practices (such as planting seeds) and livestock caretaking. These events also include dances performed by men and women groups who participate together at these gatherings—the latter often using masks made using yak fur!
If you want to enjoy the beauty of Tawang without the crowds, plan your visit in the off-season. During this time (which is usually from November through March) it's warm and sunny, there are fewer Tawang Tourist information centers, and it's quiet. This means that you'll have more time to explore on foot or bike—and perhaps even ride by motorcycle!
If you decide that visiting during winter is not for you because of all those snow mountains up north (or if you simply prefer warmer weather), then choose an earlier spring trip as well; these tend to be quite beautiful as well!
The months of April to June are great for exploring the scenic beauty of the region on a motorcycle or a bicycle. This is especially true if you want to experience Tawang Monastery at its best during this time period.
The summer months are not recommended because it can get very hot and humid, which can make traveling difficult if you're not used to such conditions. If you'd like to visit Tawang during these warmer months, however, keep in mind that there will be less crowds than usual because many people take advantage of their vacation days during this time frame—so expect some empty streets and fewer crowds around religious sites such as Badrinath Temple and Kedarnath Temple (which both lie within easy reach).
If you are interested in fishing, then plan your visit in the summer months when you can catch trout in the nearby lakes and streams. Fishing is a great way to spend time with family and friends. It's also a great way to spend time outdoors!
Fishing is nature at its best! You'll be able to see many beautiful animals like deer or wild boar while catching your own dinner! This may sound like a dream come true but there are some things that should be considered before heading out on an adventure such as where exactly will we go? How far away from civilization should we go? What kinds of equipment do we need? What about safety precautions - how much safety gear should we bring along before venturing off into nature (or even after)?
If you want to experience the local cuisine, then plan your visit during the Monpa Food Festival in August. This is a great opportunity to sample local delicacies and learn more about the Monpa people. The festival also marks a coming of age for young adults and they are given their first yak as a celebration.
The Losar Festival is held in February and celebrates the Tibetan New Year. It's an important event for locals who celebrate with family members and friends over food, dance performances and singing songs praising Buddha that have been passed down through generations since time immemorial!
Winter months of December to February are perfect for those looking for a peaceful and quiet holiday in the snow. The weather is mild, and the snow is beautiful. The roads are clear, and there are no crowds. You can experience Monpa culture and traditions, including Yak dance performances at local festivals.
You should check the weather forecast before you plan your visit; it's important that you arrive during this time of year if you want to experience Tawang's beauty at its best!
Tawang is a wonderful place to spend your holidays. There are many things to do and see, but if you want to experience the peace of Tawang then plan your visit during summer months when it’s hot and dry. If you want to go on an adventure, then plan your trip in autumn or winter. The best time of year for bird watching is during spring when migratory birds fly in from Siberia and Tibet! You can also enjoy the beautiful scenery by riding around on a bicycle or motorcycle; just make sure that there aren't any landslides along these roads because they can be dangerous at times (especially during monsoon season).
