The Matheran Summer Festival is held on the first Sunday of August every year at Matheran Hill Station. The fest begins with an art walk where you can see some amazing paintings by local artists. This festival is organized by the Matheran Adventure Club (MAC). The event will be held on June 28 to 30 at the base camp located in Ramghat Tea Estate. The MAC organizes various activities like trekking to Machu Picchu or Goa; rock climbing; rappelling; camping trips etc., which are all fun-filled adventures for people who love outdoor activities such as hiking or camping!
Matheran Food Festival: This festival is a foodie's paradise, featuring a range of cuisines from across India and the world.
The festival will be held over two days and offers you an opportunity to try something new each day, along with enjoying your favourite foods at the same place!
The first day will consist of many stalls serving traditional Kerala dishes like Samosas, Idly Uttapam (a rice flour dumpling), Chutney Rice & Pulao combo etc.. On the second day there are several stalls that serve cuisines from different parts of India including North-East states like Assam or Mizoram. The choices are also varied when it comes to snacks like samosas, pakoras etc..
Matheran Arts and Crafts Festival: Local artisans showcase their wares at this festival, with visitors able to purchase unique handmade crafts and souvenirs.

Matheran Winter Festival: This festival celebrates the chillier months with bonfires, hot cocoa, and winter sports.
A fun-filled day of entertainment is planned to make this festival a memorable one. You can participate in games like tug-of-war or snowman making competition or even try your hands at ice skating or curling. The children will also get to enjoy face painting and other arts & crafts activities.
The events are set up at various locations around Matheran including Shaniwar Wada, Madhav Hills Resort & Spa, etc., where they will be held throughout the day from 11 am onwards till 4 pm (on weekends).
Matheran Flower Show: Visitors can admire a wide range of flowers and plants at this annual flower show, with gardening workshops and seminars also available.
The Matheran Flower Show is held in June every year at the Aarey Milk Colony and is one of the largest flower shows in India. The event showcases varieties of orchids, ferns, violets and other plants that thrive in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra state.
Matheran Heritage Festival: This festival showcases Matheran's rich cultural heritage, with traditional dance performances, historic tours, and heritage walks.
The festival is held in November every year on a weekend immediately after Diwali. The main attraction is the Koli dance which has been performed by men since ancient times to celebrate their victory over floodwaters during monsoons. During this time they also perform other dances like Panch rustam (a group dance) and Sharbat or sukhi-sarai (a solo performance).
