Kanyakumari is a beautiful town in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It has been declared as one of the most beautiful towns in India by Lonely Planet. Kanyakumari is also known as Little Venice due to its canals and water mills. It's one of the most visited places in Tamil Nadu with tourists coming from all over the world for its beaches, Temples and pilgrimage sites, mosques and colonial buildings (including Fort Madras).

Thanumalayan Temple

Thanumalayan Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Shiva. It is located in the town of Suchindram, in the Kanyakumari District of Tamil Nadu, India.

The temple complex was built by Cholas during 10th century AD and renovated by Nayaks (warrior kings) in 1606 when they captured it from Portuguese who had been trading here for about 150 years before that time.[1] The sanctum sanctorum houses a statue of Nandi bull mounted on a pedestal with his left front foot resting against it indicating that he has been standing there for an infinite amount of time.[2]

Mathur Hanging Bridge

The Mathur Hanging Bridge is a suspension bridge in the city of Kanyakumari, India. Vivekananda Rock Memorial is a beautiful place that you can visit to learn about the life of Vivekananda. The memorial consists of a series of stone pillars, each one representing one year in his life. Each pillar also has an inscription that explains why he chose this date for his activities or where he went at that time.

It is also a good place to visit if you want to learn about the history of the people who live in Suchindram and nearby areas such as Adirampattinam and Chidambaram district.

Thirparappu Waterfalls

Thirparappu Waterfalls is located in Kanyakumari district, which is a part of the state of Tamil Nadu. The falls are located in Thirparappu village and they have a height of about 20 feet. The area around it has been declared as a wildlife sanctuary under Wildlife (Protection) Act 1972 and hence you should not disturb anything here.

The best time to visit this place is from April to November when there are plenty of tourists visiting from all over India as well as other countries like Sri Lanka etc., who love trekking through forests and valleys looking for wild animals like elephants etc., which can be seen in large groups during this season when they move into these areas after their winter hideouts near towns such as Kanyakumari (which happens every year).

Suchindram Temple

Suchindram Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Shiva located in the Suchindram town of Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu, India. Thiruvalluvar Statue

The Thiruvalluvar Statue is located in Kanyakumari, a popular tourist destination and one of the oldest centers for learning about Tamil culture. It was built by Chola king Kulothunga Chola I (c.1178-1220 AD) as a memorial to the poet Thiruvalluvar who lived during the Sangam period (500 BC - 300 BC). The statue's white marble body stands over 50 feet tall and depicts Thiruvalluvar holding a book while sitting on an open palm leaf chair. The statue has become widely known as a symbol of Tamil identity and pride among residents as well as tourists who visit this area; many weddings have been held here since its creation in 1002 AD!

Kanyakumari Wildlife Sanctuary

The Kanyakumari Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary located in Tamil Nadu, India. It was established in 1984 and covers an area of 834 km2 (1,085 sq mi). The sanctuary consists of two main enclaves: one in the north-east corner of the state, known as Kanyakumari Wildlife Sanctuary; and another in its south-west corner, called Kolli Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Both these enclaves are about 15 km long by 5–7 km wide with their combined length measuring around 40km.

The best time to visit this reserve would be from November to March when there are heavy rains which helps maintain the grasslands in good condition while also allowing animals like elephants, bears etc., access through various paths leading towards rivers like Pambar River or Vettukavu Lake

Kanniyakumari Vivekananda Rock Memorial

Kanniyakumari Vivekananda Rock Memorial is a memorial to the Indian freedom fighter and philosopher Sri Aurobindo. It is located at Kanniyakumari in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

The memorial was constructed by Mahatma Gandhi's sister Maniben at this place in memory of her brother who had died on 22nd September 1950 while performing yoga exercises at this place. The memorial has been built under the guidance of Dr Plessy who served as its architect from 1953 to 1954 when it was completed after being consecrated by Swami Vivekananda himself on 15th November 1954 with an aim to honour his long-time companion for whom he held great respect as well as affection
