Una is a small town in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is located in the Garhwal Himalayas and famous for its temples, festivals and scenic beauty. There are many places to visit in Una including:
The Cave Temple (also known as Aankar Ka Mandir) which houses a sculpture of Lord Shiva that has been dated back to 10th century CE.

Exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations is a great way to get to know a place. You can learn about the history, culture and people of an area through your experiences with them. Exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations is also a great way for you to experience new things in your own time because you have more freedom than when visiting tourist attractions.
Una, a small town in Western India and home to the ancient city of Ujjain, has an abundance of attractions. Following are some of the most popular sites:
The Bairat Temple Complex is one of the most famous Hindu temples in India. It was built by King Bhagiratha during his rule over Ujjain between about 1,000 BC and 800 AD. This temple complex consists of three parts: Garbha Griha (the main sanctum), Maha Mandiram and Panchkarnika (an inner sanctum). The temple has idols depicting deities such as Shiva & Parvati, Krishna & Radha, Vishnu & Lakshmi Narayan among others along with many other gods & goddesses associated with various aspects such as agriculture or fertility etc.. There are also images depicting humans being sacrificed at this site which speaks volumes about how sacred this place actually was back then!
The Naina Devi Temple is located in Una, a town in Himachal Pradesh. The temple is dedicated to goddess Naina Devi and is one of the most popular destinations for tourists visiting Una. It also attracts religious tourists who wish to make offerings at this sacred site before heading home with blessings from God and His consort Goddess Durga.
The temple was built during the 17th century by Raja Bhim Singh Thapa as an offering to his mother Saraswati Devi who died while he was still young. It has been renovated several times since then but its basic architecture remains intact today; it consists of four main structures: a central shrine surrounded by two verandahs (porches), each containing three smaller shrines dedicated respectively to Ganesh statues inside them; an outer wall enclosing all four parts together; another outer wall enclosing this entire structure within which lies another shrine dedicated only towards Lord Shiva
The temple is located in the Una district, near Kota and Chittorgarh. It was built by Maharana Pratap of Mewar in 1511 and dedicated to Ambika Devi, a goddess who was said to have saved him from death by means of her divine powers.
The temple complex consists of three main structures: a small shrine with idols inside; a larger shrine where offerings are made; and an open courtyard surrounded by four smaller shrines (kunds).
The temple was built in the early 12th century by King Jayavarman VII, who also commissioned other important structures like the Angkor Wat and Koh Ker. The temple is a popular tourist attraction and pilgrimage site for Hindus, Buddhists and Jains from around the world. It is also known as Angkor Thom or simply Angkor (from Sanskrit: अंकुर [angura], meaning "city").
The main structure at Angkor Thom comprises two major enclosures surrounded by walls that vary in height but are generally between five to eight meters high. These two enclosures contain many smaller buildings including libraries and chapels dedicated to various gods associated with Hinduism or Buddhism respectively.
The best time to visit is between March and September, when the temperatures are comfortable. You can also go during the night or early morning hours so that you won't be too hot.
The best way to get there is by plane from Delhi or Mumbai, but if you don't have enough money for this option then bus will also work fine as it takes about two hours on average and costs less than USD20 each way (or Rs1120). If possible try not to go during monsoon season as there are many roadblocks on highways due to flooding.
There are many places worth seeing in Una like Pauri Garjia Temple (which has been declared as one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites), Chandi Devi Temple etc., but if money isn't an issue then I would recommend visiting Swayambhu Peak which offers amazing views over Kathmandu Valley including Mount Everest (8 ft taller than Allahabad Pillar) etc.,
The Chintpurni Temple is located in the town of Chintpurni. It is a popular pilgrimage site, and it's also home to one of India's most well-known temples: Ambika Devi (the Mother Goddess).
The temple was constructed during 15th century by Rajput rulers who ruled over this part of present-day Uttar Pradesh state at that time. It has been renovated many times since then.
Temples and pilgrimage sites in the Una district of Himachal Pradesh. It was built by King Chandragupta Maurya in 326 BCE, making it one of the oldest temples in India.
The temple has three entrances: the main entrance facing east, which leads into a vestibule; another entrance leading north; and an eastern vestibule that leads into the inner sanctum (sanctum sanctorum).
It is best to visit Una during the months of November and February, as this is when you can catch the most spectacular views of Mount Blanc. If you want to avoid crowds, then March or April are also good times to visit—just make sure that your flight doesn't get delayed by bad weather!
If you're planning on traveling by car or train, then make sure that your vehicle has good winter tires and an ice scraper (or something similar). A snow chain could also be helpful if driving in areas where they may not be available at gas stations.
The Ambika Devi Temple is a Hindu temple located in Una, a town in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The temple is dedicated to the goddess Ambika, the consort of Lord Shiva. It was built on January 15, 1967 by Dharampal Singh and his family members who have been devoted worshipers of this deity since their ancestors were converted to Hinduism hundreds years ago.
The name "Ambika" means "the one who gives birth", while "Devi" means "she who rules".
Harshat Mata Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Harsha Mata. It is located on the banks of the River Ganges in Una, Gujarat, India. The temple was built by Rajput rulers and has been renovated several times through history.
The main image of this temple is that of Goddess Harsha Mata with an elephant headdress and holding an umbrella made out of peacock feathers at her side. The image was originally sculpted from sandstone but later replaced by terracotta tiles during repairs after an earthquake destroyed it in 1832 A.D..
The temple is located in the village of Una. It is dedicated to the goddess Ambika, who is associated with the mother goddess Shakti and her husband Shiva. The temple was built by Pandavas during their exile in Dwaraka (modern day Dwarka), who are believed to have moved there after they were cursed by a saint named Bhrigu.
The inscription on one side of this temple says: "When he saw that all five brothers were united under one roof; when he saw them making merry together as they did during their days of prosperity; when he heard that they had been blessed with son Sankarshana; then Lord Krishna went away from Vaikuntha without delay."
The best time to visit Una is between March and November. The weather is warm, but not too hot.
To get there by bus or train:
Take the bus from Kolkata to Howrah Station (approximately 9 hours). From there you can take a train for another 3 hours, which will bring you to Una Junction Railway Station.
From this station, it's about 20 minutes walk down main street until you reach the local restaurant where most people stay in town during their visit; this restaurant serves delicious food at affordable prices!
As you can see, Una is an amazing place to visit. It’s an off-the-beaten-path destination with a lot to offer for visitors and locals alike. There are so many places within the city that you can explore, but if you have time then I would recommend visiting the Naina Devi Temple first. This is where India was first discovered by Alexander The Great!
