Makar Sankranti is a Hindu festival celebrated on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, with people flying kites of all shapes and sizes. A popular festival celebrated on the occasion of Makar Sankranti in Junagadh district, Gujarat State, India. People fly kites made from cloths or paper during this festival which fall down after some time when they move away from each other due to wind flow etc., so there are many varieties available like star shaped ones as well as round ones that can be easily flown by kids without any help from adults!
The celebrations begin with carrying out various rituals at temples around town before sunrise and ends with burning incense sticks followed by offering prayers at each temple during evening hours or early morning hours depending upon which temple one goes to visit first thing after waking up early enough (so don’t forget anything!)
