Coringa Wildlife Sanctuary 

Coringa Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the largest sanctuaries located in the Godavari Delta of East Godavari District in Kakinada. It is a paradise for the bird watchers and nature lovers with its rich and varied flora and fauna.

The sanctuary covers an area of 2,800 square kilometers, covering alluvial plains along with hills and islands that provide nesting sites to over 200 species of birds including migratory birds like black-headed ibis, cormorants (waders), egrets etc., as well as resident species like peacocks, hornbills (bird), kingfishers (bird).

Mypadu Beach

Mypadu Beach is a beautiful beach located in Kakinada. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Andhra Pradesh and is a must-visit place for beach lovers.

Mypadu Beach has been awarded as one of the top 10 beaches in India by National Geographic Traveler magazine, which says that it has a “perfectly clear water”, good weather and great ambiance.

Hope Island

Hope Island is a small island located at the entrance of the Bay of Bengal in Kakinada. It is one of the most beautiful islands with its pristine beaches and crystal clear waters.

Hope Island was formed after a volcanic eruption that occurred over 500 years ago. The island has been named after Lord Thomas Hope, who was an English marine officer who had served under William Pitt the Younger during his term as Governor General of India from 1792 to 1805.[1] Hope Island has been declared as a protected area by Government of Andhra Pradesh under Notification No 2/2010 dated May 7th 2010[2].

Uppada Beach

Uppada Beach is a beautiful beach located in Kakinada. It is an ideal place for swimming, sunbathing and other beach activities. The beach has white sand along with plenty of coconut trees and palm trees as well.

The best time to visit this place is during the monsoon season when it remains quiet with no crowds or noise pollution because all the tourists have left their homes by then.

Draksharamam Temple

Draksharamam Temple is an ancient temple located in Kakinada Temples and pilgrimage sites It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the most famous temples in the region. The temple has been renovated several times over its history, but it still retains some of its original features including a large gopuram (a tower that serves as a entrance).

The main deity of this temple is Lord Siva who wears a crown on his head made from three different types of stones: black stone, white stone and red stone. He has four arms with each one holding something different - sword or discus (chakra), book or conch shell (shanku), trishul or trident (khanda) and noose/yajnopavita (pasha).

Kakinada Beach

This beach is also known as Vasireddy Venkata Rao Park Beach because it was built by Governor Sri Vasireddy Venkata Rao, who ruled from 1934 to 1945. The beach has been developed into an attractive destination with numerous facilities like boating, fishing and water sports etc., which attract people from all over India as well as abroad. The best time to visit this place is between late March to mid May when there are fewer people on the beach but still plenty of activities like boating, diving etc., can be enjoyed here

Godavari Mangrove

The famous "Godavari Mangrove" is the mangroves found at the mouth of the Godavari River, which flows through several states including Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Odisha.The mangroves here have been protected as UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992 because they are one of the few remaining natural habitats for rare species like flying foxes (fruit bats), crocodiles, turtles etc.

Coringa Wildlife Sanctuary

The sanctuary comprises five regions: Bhimashankar Nala, Banjarapalem Taluq, Uppiliyamma Temple area (which includes Srikantapuram), Muddapalli Water Reservoirs & Rourkella Fort Area.

The sanctuary has been declared as Wildlife Sanctuary by Government of Andhra Pradesh vide Notification No. F-4/Pt/2010 dated 20th January 2010 by Chief Conservator Of Forests Hyderabad Circle under Section 3(2)(c) read with Section 5(1)(b) & 4(1)(d) & 2(1)(e).

Hope Island 

Hope Island is a small island located at the entrance of the Bay of Bengal in Kakinada. It is an ideal place for a day trip and is full of beautiful beaches and crystal clear waters.

The island has been named after the British warship HMS Hope that was wrecked here during World War II. It was then used by Indian Navy as a launching point for submarines until they were decommissioned in the late 1960s. The island also houses an artificial reef which attracts many types of fish species including sharks, manta rays etc., making it one of the best diving spots in Andhra Pradesh state!

Bhamini Beach

Kambalakonda Wildlife Sanctuary:

Kambalakonda Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area located in East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. It was declared as a sanctuary in 1982 and covers an area of 653 square kilometers (248 sq mi). It is home to many endangered species such as elephants, tigers and gaur (a type of Indian bison). The sanctuary also has other animal species like leopards, bears etc., which have either been poached or have died out due to habitat destruction by humans.

The main attraction for visitors here are its beautiful beaches that stretch along both sides of the river Krishna River from Kakinada port where you can see some stunning views from here on your way back home after visiting these beaches

Kakinada Lighthouse
