A dwarf stands next to him offering flowers or fruit before him. In front of this statue there lies another statue showing Shiva holding a trident over his right shoulder while standing on two legs facing forward or backward depending upon which way you look at it (this may seem confusing but trust me it's easy).

The first thing to understand is that the river Yamuna is a very sacred place. It is considered to be one of the holiest rivers in India, and this fact has been known for a long time. In fact, at one point in time, there were no less than 200 temples built on its banks! So why would someone build temples over a river? Well, it’s because they believed that God was living inside the temple has a large courtyard that is open to the public, and there is also a small museum on-site. The architecture at Chintamani Vaidyanatha Temple is very unique and beautiful. The history behind why people started building temples on top of rivers can be explained very easily if you know where they came from; they came from God’s order because he wanted us to worship him here instead of only living away from him or going inside buildings so that we could avoid seeing Him face-to-face when we were alive!
These places are not just beautiful, but they have a lot to offer. You can get the best experience while traveling here and make some memories.
