Experience the vibrant culture and traditions of Kerala

"Kerala is a state in the southern region of India. It's known for its rich culture and traditions, which are reflected in its traditional artwork, music and dance performances.

Kerala's beaches offer some of the best sunsets you'll ever see while you're on vacation here! You can go swimming at any time of day because there are no waves or currents—just crystal clear waters that will make your skin feel like silk. If you want to get closer to nature without going into deep water then visit one of our many coconut groves where we grow them organically and sustainably so they don't damage our environment."

Marvel at the stunning architecture of the Padmanabhaswamy Temple

The Padmanabhaswamy Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. It is located in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala, India. The temple complex consists of many other temples within it and the grounds around it are massive, with numerous other temples inside it.

The architecture of this place is stunning! You can see intricate carvings everywhere you look; from wall paintings and statues inside each building to intricate mosaics on ceilings outside buildings that look like they were hand-made by artists centuries ago. The whole area has been well maintained so that visitors have an experience unlike any other place on earth (not really). It's also very peaceful here because there aren't many people around during peak hours—just tourists like yourself who want to get away from their daily routines for a few hours at least once every few months when visiting such places as these ones!

Take a trip to the picturesque hill station of Ponmudi

Ponmudi is a hill station in the Western Ghats, in the state of Kerala, India.

The town is located at an elevation of 1,300 m (4,265 ft) above sea level. It is about 50 km from Kottayam, Kerala. The name "Ponmudi" means "Hilltop".

Vali Lake is a freshwater lake formed over 600 million years ago by lava flows from Mount Hariharapura flowing down into valleys below its peaks. It is about 25 km from Ponmudi and offers beautiful views across Vembanad Lake and back towards Muthalamada Temple on its northern shoreline. Constructions include many churches built by Portuguese missionaries during their stay between 1567-1663 AD; also there are several monuments associated with this period including St Mary's Church built by them sometime after 1661 AD which still stands today despite having been damaged twice during recent wars against Travancore Kingdom - once in 1809 when British Army set up camp here following capture of Tellichery Fort which was nearby then too!

Learn about the fascinating local history at the Kanakakunnu Palace

The Kanakakunnu Palace is a popular tourist destination, and it's easy to see why. The palace was built by the Chirayinkeezhu family in the 18th century as their home, but it has since become a museum and heritage site.

The palace has been featured on many television shows, including an episode of "Mythbusters" where they tested whether or not some rooms at the palace were haunted by ghosts. If you're curious about its history, check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8p7sXBY7sI

There are also plenty of programs that explore how this building was constructed over time—including how they built scaffolding into their woodwork so they could add window panes without having to use nails! This process involved using ropes instead of nails because they were cheaper (and easier).

Visit the idyllic Veli Lake and enjoy some boating and water sports

The lake is a popular destination for tourists, locals and families as well. If you’re traveling with children or family members who want to explore the area around the lake, then you should definitely check out some of these places. You can also use your time at the idyllic Veli Lake wisely and be safe while exploring it.

If you decide that this is going to be one of your stops during your trip, then here are some tips on how best to spend your time:

Plan a route from your Thiruvananthapuram hotel room (or wherever else) to either Thiruvananthapuram City Center or Trivandrum Central Bus Station (TCBS). This will help ensure that there aren't any traffic jams along the way; however if there are no buses available then walk instead!

Once at TCBS/City Center find some free wifi connections so that we can update our blog entry from home as well as upload photos taken during our trip.

Enjoy a scenic drive along the picturesque Western Ghats.

The Western Ghats are a series of mountains that run parallel to the Indian coastline. They rise from the sea, and reach heights up to 1,000 meters above sea level. These mountains form a barrier between Kerala and Tamil Nadu on one side, and Karnataka on the other.

The Western Ghats have been inhabited for thousands of years by people who have lived here in harmony with nature: they've cultivated crops and raised livestock on this fertile land for centuries. The region is also famous for its tea plantations, which provide much-needed income for local farmers during drought years when there is little rain or water available from rivers or streams flowing through their lands (though there is still plenty left over).

Kerala Tourism has been working hard over recent years not only because it's considered one of India's best tourist destinations but also because they want all visitors coming into town see what makes this place so special!
