The Sri Krishna Temple is dedicated to Lord Sri Krishna, who is also considered as one of the avatars of Lord Vishnu. It has become popular among tourists because it's an example of architectural beauty and religious devotion.
The temple was constructed between 1732 and 1734 by King Canarabai II under the supervision of Vishwanatha Iyengar (a sculptor) who used granite stones from different parts of Karnataka state such as Shimoga district and Hassan district to build this magnificent structure which stands tall today thanks to its strong foundation made out with stone blocks quarried locally so they could withstand heavy rains without collapsing into pieces like some other buildings around town do sometimes fail when they're hit hard enough times without proper maintenance work done on them first before being used again later on down there either way whether something like this happens or not doesn't matter much anymore since nowadays everything has been changed forever anyway due mainly due its popularity among locals who come here every day during daylight hours too see what else might still exist inside these walls where once upon another time things were ordinary enough back then when things were simpler yet more beautiful too look at now days especially since most people don't understand how important certain places were only until recently because now everyone knows about everything except those who lived through those times themselves still cannot explain why everything went downhill after World War Two ended which left behind many unanswered questions about why so many people died during battles just because someone wanted power over others instead taking care not only themselves but also others around them too; but now those questions have finally been answered thanks largely due somebody else's efforts toward finding answers."
