The Sahibabad Festival is a celebration of culture and community, held every year in April. The festival is held at the Sahibabad Sports Complex, which includes an arena with seating for 2,000 people and an open-air gazebo that can accommodate up to 1,500 guests.
The evening's entertainment includes performances by local musicians and dance groups from around India as well as other countries where they have been invited by friends who live here in Sahibabad. You will also see some traditional dances such as bhangra (North Indian folk dance) along with other popular styles such as Kathakali from Kerala state in south India or bharatanatyam from Chennai (Madras).

It is organized by the government authorities with the help of volunteers from different communities, who want to promote a healthy lifestyle among people in Sahibabad.
The MCD officials organized this event because they wanted everyone to know about how important it is for them not only as individuals but also as members of society at large.
The event started at 5:00 pm with a lighting ceremony, where the volunteers lit candles in order to make the ground look beautiful. After this, there was a colorful procession of people from different communities who participated in this event. They marched through the streets of Sahibabad holding placards and banners that said things like ‘Let us Say No To Ragging’, ‘Say No To Drugs’ etc. This procession ended at 7:00 pm when everyone gathered for a photo session at Sant Nirankari Sarovar
