It is also known as “Gurudwara Janam Din” or “Memorial Day” since it falls on 14th June every year except when it coincides with Holi or Diwali. This celebration starts off with sunrise prayers followed by religious discourses delivered by gurus from various religions like Sikhism & Buddhism etc., followed by performances by dancers clad up in colorful traditional costumes depicting scenes from mythology using wooden masks representing gods & goddesses! Families come together joyfully dressed up kids wearing new clothes bought specially just for this occasion so everyone else looks jealous because theirs probably last worn before Christmas party too ;)
