Karwar is a city in Karnataka, India. It is the headquarters of Karwar district and is located on the coast of Arabian Sea. It has been known for its beaches and temples since ancient times and it remains one of Karnataka's most popular tourist destinations today.

Devbagh Beach

Located in Karwar's Alibag Taluka, Devbagh Beach is a beautiful stretch of sand that is often visited by tourists looking to relax and unwind. The beach is best known for its secluded nature and clear water; it's just one kilometer away from the city center.

You'll find plenty of activities on this beach to keep you busy: swimming, sunbathing, wandering along the shoreline—even bird watching! Kurumgad Island

Kurumgad Island is an island located in the middle of Karwar Lake. It was formed by a natural dam, which was created by a large amount of rainfalls and floods over time. The fort on this island has been built by Portuguese rulers who ruled Karnataka during their reign.

• A temple dedicated to Lord Jagannath and Balabhadra at Palasa village where they were worshipped every day by locals until they were taken away by British administrators when they came with their army to rule over India’s territories.

Warship Museum

The best time to go is between October and March as there are fewer crowds and more wildlife in these months. During these months, it's also less likely that you'll encounter heavy rains which affect river levels. In addition to this, winter is generally milder than other seasons in India so temperatures may not be too cold for comfort (although they still might feel colder).

The weather should be good during all seasons but especially springtimes when everything blooms with color; autumns bring cooler temperatures but lots of rain showers; summers are hot with humid conditions throughout most days; fall weather tends toward cool temps until December when winter sets in again until February or March depending on snowfall amounts
