Gandhi Smarak is a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. It is located in Lucknow, and it is one of the most popular tourist spots in the city. This memorial is an excellent place to visit if you want to see some amazing architecture, as well as learn about Gandhi's life and work with him at this site.
The memorial was built in the 1970s and was designed by the famous architect, Raj Rewal. It is one of the largest structures in Lucknow, with a height of about 70 meters and an area of 180000 square meters. The structure has four levels that represent the different stages of Gandhi's life: his childhood, education at university level, marriage and family life; as well as his work for Indian independence from British rule
